·         Those who receive an understudy assignment most attend practice and may be asked to fill in for missing dancers for practices as well as show depending upon circumstances.

·         You must accept all part(s) given including understudying to participate.  If after casting you wish to not accept your parts and not participate in the show, you must inform us by JAN 19th.

Time Commitment

·         Your rehearsals may vary from 30 mins to multiple hours depending on which and how many parts you receive. Each part should expect around 30 mins-2 hours per week. Rehearsal time may increase as we get closer to the show.

·         ALL dancers must be available on Saturdays at any time 8:00am-5:00pm.  This means if you take a class on Saturday, your rehearsals may conflict with your class, and you will need to attend rehearsal and miss your class.

·         Dancers wishing for soloist roles will be rehearsing on Saturdays, but may also be rehearsing on weekdays.  Please indicate your availability on your audition form.

·        Mandatory Dress Rehearsal and Show June 6-7.

·         Dancers missing more than 4-5 rehearsals may be removed from the show.  Please do not audition if you know you will have multiple scheduling conflicts!!

Communications

·         All communications for rehearsals will be sent through email.  Sometimes a scheduling error occurs, and we may have to make last minute changes. Please check regularly for any updates.

Rehearsal Information

·         Your rehearsals may vary from 30 mins to multiple hours depending on which and how many parts you receive. Each part should expect around 30 mins-2 hours per week. Rehearsal times may increase as we get closer and run the full show.

·         Dancers must wear appropriate dance clothing for their role and have hair in bun.

·         Rehearsals will not always be at the same time every week.  It is very important that you keep up with your emails to know your correct rehearsal times.

·         Because this is a full-length production there will be times when we will rehearse not only your dance but possibly your whole Act or Scene so that transitions run smoothly.  This means dancers may have down time during a rehearsal, but must remain vigilant in case they are called back in to repeat anything.

·         A tip would be to place all rehearsal times on your calendar and check it each week.

·         There will also be cast and rehearsal lists posted on the bulletin boards.

Participation Fees

·         Dancers will have a nonrefundable participation fee of $250.  This helps cover costuming, sets, theater rental, programs, rehearsal time, teachers, etc.   This fee will be spilt into 5 monthly payments of $50 running in Feb, March, April, and June due with tuition on the 10th of the month. Students on the unlimited class +company payment rate ($275) and above have this cost included in their class package.

·         Costumes are rented from the studio and not taken home or kept by the dancers.  If it is found that a dancer did not return a costume, the dancer will be billed for a replacement.
